okay  hello everyone here is a post about taking time off. i know it can be tempting after a cross country seasons to take weeks or months off. BUT DO NOT DO THIS!! If you do you will quickly get out of shape and it will be very hard to get back into shape in the spring. also remember not only will your legs go out of shape, often your lungs will too.

You might be saying but my coach says it's good to take sometime off bet wean seasons, and your coach is right. but people take rests for too long because its too easy. in general it is best to take about 4 days to 2  weeks off after a season depending on how you feel. but no more than 2 weeks unless you are injured.

lastly, off season can be as or even more crucial then during the season for how u will do during a season because  if you do a lot of work your body can make absolute stupid amounts of approvement if done right hich i will tell you how to do in the next post!
